Home of the Talyllyn Railway, Tywyn is surrounded by beautiful green valleys and the nearby hills of the stunning Snowdonia National Park. It’s a small, unspoilt town that’s very easy to get around and offers a good selection of bed and breakfast and guesthouse accommodation. It’s 4 miles of fantastic sandy beach are perfect for sun worshippers, but you can also take in some history and culture with a visit to see St Cadfan’s church or the Castell y Bere castle. You can also set out from your comfortable B&B on some stunning walks, a visit to the honey factory, or spend a day spotting dolphins, porpoises and seals in the bay.
