The lovely seaside town of Sidmouth is located on the stunning Jurassic Coast and is hard to beat for beaches, wonderful cliff top walks, beautiful gardens, superb shopping and good quality eateries. Choose from the excellent array of bed and breakfast and guesthouse accommodation and admire Sidmouth’s many listed buildings and host of historical visitors including Princess Victoria and Elizabeth Barrett Browning. You can also step out from your B&B and take a town tour or visit Sidmouth Museum for more on the town’s history; take in a band concert, Sidmouth Regatta, the famous Sidmouth Folk Week and the Sidmouth Carnival in the Autumn. Slightly further afield its worth a trip to the Norman Lockyer Observatory to take a closer look at the night sky, or visit the Donkey Sanctuary and its 500 adorable inmates!
