Knaresborough is a pretty historic town situated at the bottom of a deep gorge in the River Nidd valley and has some excellent bed and breakfast and guesthouse accommodation for its many visitors. From your chosen B&B you can stroll along the river, visit one of the many inviting tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, hire a rowing boat, walk to St. Roberts Cave and meander through the attractive and interesting array of shops. You can enjoy the local weekly market and many fantastic local attractions including a guided tour of Knaresborough Castle and Museum, Old Mother Shipton’s Cave & Petrifying Well and Henshaw’s Arts and Crafts Centre.
