Buxton has been called the ‘Cultural Capital’ of the Peak District for its fantastic year round programme of music, theatre and festivals and its growing ‘café society’ of tea rooms, cafes and restaurants. It offers a good choice of B&B or guesthouse accommodation and as a Spa town at the heart of the Peak District it has always been a popular holiday resort.
