Arundel is a unique, historic market town in the Sussex Downs. It is the perfect place for a weekend break with a good selection of comfortable bed and breakfast and guesthouse accommodation. The Castle and the Cathedral dominate the town and are must-sees for visitors. There are also lovely views, the pretty River Arun running through it offering leisurely boat trips, an excellent array of craft and antique shops and a renowned local Farmers Market. Your B&B will no doubt provide a hearty breakfast, and for meals later in the day there is an impressive range of restaurants and pubs to choose from. Wandering through the town you can also admire the many listed buildings some of which date back to medieval times.
