From glasgow take m8 to greenock and gourock. Take either ferry (3 per hour) at gourock for 20 minute crossing to dunoon. Abbot's brae is situated 1 mile south of dunoon pier on the shore road. Alternatively take a more leisurely and scenic drive via erskine bridge through loch lomond national park to approach dunoon by road (70 miles from glasgow)..
