The borough arms hotel and restaurant is one of the oldest established hotels in the newcastle-under-lyme and stoke-on-trent areas with history dating back to 1783. The hotel is very much of the style associated with a traditional english town centre coaching inn yet has been sensitively and subtly refined to offer the comfort and modern standards demanded by today's visitors. Close to the centre of the historic borough of newcastle the borough arms hotel is convenient for both business and leisure visits to many local attractions including alton towers the english peak district the staffordshire potteries stoke on trent the staffordshire moorlands cheshire and derbyshire.independently owned and managed the hotel retains many period features and takes great pride in offering a very personal service. From m6 south-bound:- leave at junction 16 onto a500. Continue for approximately 2 miles. Follow sign for a34 newcastle-under-lyme. Continue for approximately 4 miles crossing 3 roundabouts. At the fourth roundabout take the second exit signposted a53 city centre hanley. Keep to the left hand lane and we are situated on the right hand side just after the right hand lane has turned off. From m6 north bound:- leave at junction 15 signposted a54 stoke-on-trent and stone. Continue to a roundabout where you should take the first exit signposted a34 newcastle-under-lyme.
