Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Now under family ownership the queens hotel has just undergone a complete refurbishment to a 4 star standard. The hotel now offers superlative quality accommodation including super king size beds in most of the double rooms. All rooms now benefit from chic new en-suites all with showers and most with chromatherapy jacuzzi baths. Guests can enjoy magnificent panoramic views from the comfort of the beautiful public rooms. The glen campa restaurant's a la carte menu offers the very best of local produce complimented by the stunning views. The elegant lounge bar's menu offers a variety of home-made dishes to suit all tastes.

Curl up and relax with your favourite book in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel's lounge. The deeply buttoned leather chesterfields create a warm yet dignified feel reminiscent of the gentleman's club of victorian times. Let the stunning views take you to a place of utter peace and tranquility as you while away an hour or two just doing nothing!.

By car: when entering oban on the a85 you come down a hill and go straight on at first mini-roundabout (do not follow town centre). At the next mini roundabout on the seafront turn right (following the signage for ganavan). The hotel is 0.4 miles on the right hand side. Car parking at the hotel is limited to 16 spaces on-site available on a first come first served basis (unless you hold a blue disabled badge in which case please advise the hotel before arrival). There is free unrestricted parking on the adjacent promenade and there are two car parks offering free overnight parking less than 0.4 miles from the hotel. By train: come out of the station and turn left along the harbour frontage. Carry on straight on along the seafront until you come to a mini roundabout. Go straight on (following the seafront) by the mini roundabout and the hotel is 0.4 miles on the right hand side.
