Bed and Breakfast Description

 

This scottish hotel offers excellent accommodation for those visiting the argyll area. It's scenic location makes it an excellent place to take a holiday or vacation in scenic scotland. The accommodation in this hotel is very good with scottish food available in the dining room. The kelvin hotel is situated in a grade b listed building which is one of the oldest buildings in oban. It enjoys an enviable location adjacent to the ferry terminal and railway station and within a few minutes walk of the centre of town. All of the front bedrooms enjoy stunning views over oban bay towards the island of kerrera and mull beyond.

From train station turn right after passing scotrail ticket office go past m and co (clothes shop) just before semi-chem (chemist) turn right between the buildings now you are on shore street walk past the bowling alley that is situated on the right handside of shore street the kelvin hotel is 30 metres past the bowling alley on the left handside. As the train comes in to the oban train station the kelvin hotel is on the right hand side..
