The tranquil atmosphere of the Guest Lounge makes it a pleasant place to sit and relax by a cosy fire before dining in one of York's many fine restaurants, offering continental or traditional cuisine. The personal attention of the resident proprietors ensures not only a warm welcome, but a truly personal service throughout your stay.
The Ambleside offers a high standard of cleanliness, bedrooms are en-suite (comprising shower and wc). Each room is spacious and comfortably furnished, all rooms are centrally heated and are extremely well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV and alarm clock radio. Hair dryers and an ironing board are available on request.
To set you up for the day, we offer a choice of Full English, Continental or Vegetarian breakfast. Special dietary needs can normally be catered for if requested. Please inform us of any requirements you may have at the at the time of booking. |
