The House was rebuilt after the great fire of Wareham in 1762, on the foundations of a 13th Century house where the local goldsmith lived, hence the name.

The present Georgian house with its lovely walled garden lends itself to accommodate six guests in double or twin-bedded rooms with private bathrooms and a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, with all facilities on hand at your request.

The owners, Anthea and Michael, have been looking after guests for more than twenty years. Their aim is to maintain a high standard of hospitality and service and look forward to welcoming you to their House.
