A charming small country house offering b and b near Glyndbourne, East Sussex.
Bed and Breakfast Description
This lovely cottage is a charming small country house, with off road parking, which is situated down a secluded drive. In front of the property is a courtyard with ample parking and at the rear is a pretty walled garden which is carefully maintained to give year-round colour. The property is located in Ridgewood near Uckfield, providing easy access to all the attractions in and around East Sussex, not least of which is the famous Glyndebourne Opera. The house is in a quiet location and is decorated in a traditional English style with warm colours and mellow period furniture - all combining to make the most restful of settings in which to spend a few days.

Great Dixter- Christopher Lloyds renowned garden. Sheffield Park- Spring and Autumn colours. Nymans- One of England's greatest gardens. Charleston Farm House- Home of the Bloomsbury Group. Batemans- Rudyard Kipling's house and garden. Bodiam Castle- The most romantic Castle in England.

From London
Proceed along the A22 until the Little Horsted roundabout. Turn left to Ridgewood. Pass a 40mph sign and take the first turning on the right (approximately 1/2 mile from the roundabout) into New Road. About 100 yards along this road there is a clear telephone box on the right hand side and just before this, there is a concealed driveway. Turn into this and the BnB is the second house on the left behind a brick wall. Park in the courtyard.

From Lewes
Proceed along the A26 towards Uckfield. Go straight over at Little Horsted roundabout towards Ridgewood.
