Welcome to our traditional 17th century country farmhouse. We offer award-winning B&B, fine dining and house party celebrations. Our luxury guest house is just seven miles from Ludlow.

Description

The Farm is set in two acres of garden on the edge of the historic village of Wigmore, right in the heart of the beautiful and unspoilt North Herefordshire countryside. We are ideally placed for a walking holiday, a house party with friends or just a pampered and relaxing weekend break.

Take early morning tea followed by a hot bath or invigorating shower with Hardy's bath oils and fluffy towels and robes will set you up for the day. You will simply love our award-winning breakfasts - everything is home-made using the best of local free-range ingredients. We make our own bread daily, and keep a selection of conserves, jams, jellies and chutneys made from our own orchard and hedgerow fruits.

Whether you've spent the day exploring mediæval Ludlow, roaming the byways of North Herefordshire or relaxing in front of a roaring fire with a good book you will end the day with a fabulous gourmet dinner in true Farmhouse style.

Local Attractions
Wigmore is now a small village that has largely been bypassed by the outside world. But it remains true that there are the same stunning walks, the same inviting country pubs, the same sparkling rivers and the same mysterious woodlands teeming with animal life that have beguiled travellers for centuries. But they have tended to keep the secret. Discover it for yourself.
Wigmore Castle, one of the greatest of England’s medieval castles, was recently reopened to the public after a three year, one million pound rescue operation to save the ruins from disintegration.
 

Location
Wigmore is in Herefordshire in the Heart of England -
West of Birmingham, South of Shrewsbury and North of Hereford,
and only 7 miles from Ludlow.
From Ludlow: Follow signs to Wigmore (from Ludford Bridge by the Shell petrol station). As you cross the bridge leaving Ludlow the first turning right is signposted ‘Wigmore’. This road takes you through Mortimer Forest. Don’t miss the panoramic view of Ludlow on your right as you drive over Whitcliffe. You will pass through the tiny hamlets of Pipe Aston and Leinthall Starkes. Take the first left at Bury Court Farm. Follow the lane for 500 yards and you will see our driveway on the right.
