The Braid Road Bed and Breakfast is a typical late Victorian Edinburgh family home situated in a quiet location.

Description

This Bed & Breakfast is the family home of Iola and Michael Fass, who will receive you warmly and give you all the help you need to enjoy the lovely city of Edinburgh.

Number 60 is a comfortable and spacious Victorian terraced family house situated in a quiet tree-lined road which has quick and easy access to the city centre.

They have been providing high quality accommodation to a wide variety of customers for five years. They welcome people from all over the world, many of them returning over some years, and they would be happy to help you whatever your needs may be.

Guests are supplied with own front door key and are encouraged to feel at home. On- street parking is available without charge, a welcome bonus in any city.

Local Attractions
For a good story, ask Michael and Iola about the two stone post holes which can be found just outside the garden gate. It is believed that they mark the site of a gallows set up to execute two highwaymen in 1815. These may well have been the last men to be executed in Scotland for Highway Robbery. It is quite hard to picture this in such a quiet tree-lined avenue.

A floodlit evening stroll round Edinburgh by night is the perfect preview to a concert or theatre outing.
In Edinburgh's surrounding countryside, the hills and castles are among the most scenic in Scotland. The sandy bays and rugged rocks of the coast are home to many golf courses.
 

Location
Located in the fashionable Morningside area of the city, there are frequent buses to Princes Street, although guests often prefer to walk into and out of the town.

Edinburgh Airport is just 8 miles away from the city centre, and has frequent flights arriving from all over Europe and taxis available to whisk you and your luggage straight to the door.
