This multi award winning Farm Estate occupies a stunning position on the summit of the southernmost ridge of the Mendip hills.

Bed and Breakfast Description

The accommodation offers privacy, amazing décor, antique furniture and a superb heated indoor pool with a gothic window enabling spectacular views of the hills and beyond. There is a selection of places to stay on the estate, with a variety of styles and décor; the Farm House, the Cider Cellar, the Hay Barn, the Lamb Cottage and the Golden Fleece Cottage.

The swimming pool is located in a beautiful converted Victorian Barn with a huge gothic window at one end allowing spectacular views of the Somerset countryside. It is a fantastic place to relax. Treatments such as massage can be taken here if preferred to your own room. The pool is heated to an inviting 86 F. It has the latest ultra violet cleaning system meaning there is no chlorine.

Local Attractions
There is lots to do; walking, cycling, fishing in our well stocked lake, shooting clays, horse and pony rides and a host of country pursuits – all within the confines of one of the most breathtaking settings in the country. We are near many places of interest such as Glastonbury, Wells, Bath and Cheddar Gorge to name but a few. We welcome children and can arrange for activities to suit all ages. We can supply bicycles, toys, videos, DVD’s, pony rides, fishing, feeding lambs and tending the sheep.
 

B&B Location
By Road Travelling from London or the North.
Take the M3 and then the A303. At Poddimore roundabout on the A303 take the A37 signposted to Shepton Mallet. After around 8.5 miles, you will see a sign for East Pennard and West Bradley on the left (the Queens Arms Public House is directly opposite this turning on the right). Carry along this road for 2.1 miles and you will come to a right turn signposted for Forgewell and Steanbow. The Farm is 1 mile on the right hand side on this lane. Drive over the cattle grid and we will be waiting for you at the farmhouse.
