Built of golden Bath stone, this award winning property is a handsome listed Victorian house set in a splendid Award winning walled Oriental garden with exceptional views of the City and its medieval Abbey. Bath's magnificent historic sites, speciality shops and excellent restaurants are all just a five minutes level stroll away.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Hotel's elegant and tranquil interior is a graceful blend of English and Asian antiques, artwork, fine fabrics and Egyptian cotton bedlinen. The hotel has recently been extended and refurbished throughout.

Privately owned and managed by Simon and Mee Ling Roper the emphasis is on creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.

The Hotel also boasts an extensive collection of South East Asian antiques, which are on loan from Lopburi Art and Antiques - a gallery run by the hotel proprietors Simon and Mee Ling Roper.

The hotel's ongoing commitment to quality has brought some well deserved and hard earned awards.

From London and the North
Leave the M4 at junction 18 follow the A46 for about 8 miles to Bath, then join the A4 into the city. Follow the A36 ring road to Exeter and Wells over the river. Turn right and continue over the roundabout. The Hotel is 100 yards on the right.
From Bristol
At the end of the dual carriageway take the left fork - the Lower Bristol Road (A36) into the city crossing two sets of traffic lights. Follow the one-way system and the signs for the A36. Proceed under the railway lines and around the back of the Station passing the Hilton hotel on the left. At the next set of traffic lights straight ahead under the railway bridge and The Hotel is on the left about two thirds the way along before the roundabout.
