Bed and Breakfast Description

 

A warm friendly welcome awaits you and yours with log fires, big sitting rooms and equally big sofas to relax in. The house is run very much as a home that takes guests and where you will find all the facilities of a good county house hotel, without any of the stuffiness.

The house stands in three acres of lawns, trees and wild garden with ponds and a little stream running through it. It borders the Pensychnant Nature reserve and enjoys panoramic views in a peaceful setting. Herons, buzzards and foxes are just a few of the regular visitors to our garden.

The house now boasts a pool and spa, wher guests are invited to work up a sweat or simply to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

 

Conwy Attractions

 
The area is one of rural beauty and serenity with unfenced roads, wandering sheep and roaming wild ponies. It is a haven for walkers with the North Wales Coastal Path just a stroll away.

Locally the amenities are too numerous to mention; golf, sailing, paragliding, and horse riding which can make that trip to the top of the hill a little easier. If you would like something less strenuous the North Wales theatre offers many shows, concerts etc. depending on the season.

High in the hills a few miles from the house is the lovely old stone church of St Celynin.

Imagine yourself back in the middle ages..........no electric, no road, the only way to the church is on foot but it's worth the walk.

Travelling West on A55 take the Conwy turn and follow signs for Conwy. Go past the castle and follow the sign for town centre. Go past Conwy Visitors Centre on the left, take the 2nd left into Upper Gate Street and proceed up the hill for just over a mile and a half. The house can be seen on the right hand side.

Travelling EAST on A55 take the sign for Conwy, turn right and come over the dual carriageway. Proceed towards Conwy until you see a sign for Sychnant, turn right up the hill to a T junction, turn right and continue for about one mile and half, Sychnant Pass House will be found on the right.
