Description

With owners Régis and Martine Crépy, and their team, it is like walking into a little pocket of France. The warm 'Gallic' welcome is the perfect start for a relaxing stay, either 'en famille', with your best friends, as a romantic get-away or a delightful place to eat. The hotel overlooks the magnificent Market Square in this beautiful Suffolk town.

Inside, there is a large inglenook log burning fireplace and the wooden floors which add to the ambience. There is a Bar where you can order drinks or retire for coffee after dinner.

Good Housekeeping Magazine said "English country charm and the best French food. What could be a better combination?"

Local Attractions

Unique within the UK, Lavenham is described as one of the finest medieval villages in England with its historic buildings and streets. Fine Tudor townhouses mingle with small crooked cottages. The splendid 16th Century Guildhall of Corpus Christi (National Trust) dominates the Market Place and now contains a local history exhibition. The magnificent 'Wool Church' of St. Peter & St. Paul has one of the tallest towers in East Anglia. A variety of interesting antique and gift shops, art galleries, tea rooms, restaurants and country walks complement the historic sites, and a much-acclaimed audio tour, will guide you around the highlights of the village.

Location

The Hotel is in the Market Place by the National Trust Guildhall, next to the Little Hall Museum.
