Behind the plain and unassuming terraced frontage lies a guest house with a difference.
We are committed to giving you the highest standards of service and comfort. This Victorian house has been superbly restored, not to one particular period, but in a careful blending together of various styles,creating an elegant and supremely comfortable interior.

The guesthouse is a member of Northumbria Tourist Board and Hadrian's Wall Tourism Partnership and being only five minutes walk from the 'end of the wall’ where better to start your Roman sightseeing?

As a member of the 'Walkers Welcome' accommodation scheme, we offer additional facilities to those on foot.
The guesthouse has a policy of purchasing from small independent local suppliers, whether working from home, farm or orchard.

Local Attractions
SEGEDUNUM FORT AND BATH HOUSE
The last fort on Hadrian's Wall is now fully excavated to reveal the largest Roman Infantry fort in Europe. The award winning museum at Segedunum, designated as one of the top 10 museums in the world, has stunning interactive displays, restaurant and gift shop. Also on site is the only reconstructed and fully working Roman Bath House in Europe, together with a reconstruction of the Wall to its full height and depth, making Wallsend the perfect starting point for sightseeing the Roman Wall.
Segedunum Fort and the start of Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail are only five minutes walk from the guesthouse.

Location: only ten minutes from the centre of Newcastle, Wallsend is ideally situated for the city centre, the coast, Hadrian's Wall and exploring the beauty of Northumbria and County Durham.

The guesthouse is directly opposite the Trinity Methodist Church, which is on the corner of David Street and Station Road.
