Bed and Breakfast Description

 

A beautiful 1930s house, tastefully renovated with some original features including parquet flooring in the dining room and entrance hall. Nicely presented comfortable and clean ensuite bedrooms; 2 kings, 1 double and one family/twin room with a double on the ground floor with wet room, suitable for people who find stairs difficult. A travel cot can be added to a room at an additional charge of £10. Prices include a full English breakfast or something lighter. We use local produce where possible and can cater for vegetarians or other special dietary needs if requested when booking a room. Free Wi-Fi, off-road parking, Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities available for all visitors.

 

Swindon Attractions

 
We are ideally located for day trips to some wonderful places of interest including: historic Bath; beautiful Oxford with the newly refurbished Ashmolean Museum; the White Horse at Uffington and the long barrow on the Ridgeway; Abbey Gardens with the famous naked gardeners and The Cotswold Wildlife Park.

For the sporting fans we are close to Fairford which holds the annual International Air Show and the Steam Rally and we are a short drive from Cheltenham race course.

There is plenty to keep you busy with a well maintained 9 hole municipal golf course and an 18 hole golf course nearby so why not unwind with a game of golf; or enjoy a swim or workout at Highworth's Rec; or maybe walk along the Ridgeway or go fishing at the Cotswold Water Parks.
