The Portreath Arms Hotel is a small, traditional, family run hotel located in The Square at the centre of historic Portreath. The hotel has a bustling public bar and lounge - a traditional meeting place for locals.
Offering warm and friendly hospitality, the Portreath Arms Hotel is ideal accommodation for those visiting local attractions, walkers or even contract workers based at local companies. Perfectly situated on the North Cornwall Coastal Path it is ideal for those on walking holidays and to help, a luggage forwarding service is available.
Even if you are visiting alone, once in the hotel you are part of the local community, made to feel welcome and at ease. Enjoy an evening meal in our Lounge Bar or Dining Room and pass the time chatting with local customers.
The Portreath Arms Hotel is close to the small selection of local shops, close to the harbour and only a 5 minute walk to the wide, gently sloping sandy beach. Great for children and popular with surfers. Life Guards are on patrol during the holiday season.
Only a few paces from the sea and open to everyone. This is not an Olde Worlde pub with low oak beams on which to bump your head but it is traditional. Built in 1856, it is solid, sunny and spacious. The decorations are light and bright and the rooms are well proportioned and comfortable.
The beer is good, carefully kept and carefully served, while the freshly cooked meals more than satisfies the most ravenous of holiday appetites. In both the public bar and cosy lounge you can rub shoulders with the native Cornishman and enjoy the experience
