£75 per night for two people with a full Sussex Breakfast.
Whether you are visiting us for a short break, holiday, business or family event you can be sure of a warm welcome and comfortable stay at Stoneacre Lodge.
The Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and ironing facilities for self catering holidays, an open plan bedroom/living room with Super king size bed which can be converted into twin beds, a double bed upstairs with living area and single folding guest bed or cot available for children.
Remote control colour television, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, clock/radio alarm, hairdryer, bathroom with power shower.
A full Sussex breakfast is served in the vaulted sun room overlooking the garden and countryside beyond.

Stoneacre Lodge is situated in the historic village of Herstmonceux with its traditional pubs and selection of excellent restaurants. Nearby villages also boast charming country pubs and restaurants. We would be happy to make reservations for you.
This beautiful area of Sussex is well known as 1066 country and has a huge variety of attractions including Herstmonceux Castle with its science centre and observatory, Pevensey Castle, Battle Abbey, a variety of stunning National Trust properties, such as Rudyard Kipling's home Batemans, Winston Churchill's home Chartwell, Bodiam Castle, Alfriston Clergy House and Virginia Wolfe's home Monk's House in Rodmell, near Lewes.
The popular gardens of Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor, Sheffield Park and Merriments are also within easy reach.
Glyndebourne Opera house is a short car drive away and the historic towns of Brighton, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Battle, Hastings and ancient Rye are also a short distance. The famous South Downs, Beachy Head, Seven Sisters and Ashdown Forest are wonderful for walks. Pevensey Bay and Eastbourne beaches are close by. Eastbourne has a promenade, pier, bandstand, theatres, large shopping centre, leisure swimming pool and cinemas.
London is approximately 1 hour by train from Polegate. London/Gatwick airport is an hour's car journey whilst the Channel Tunnel, Dover is approximately 2 hours by car.

From the Boship roundabout take the exit signposted Bexhill A269, Horsebridge and Herstmonceux A271
Passing through Horsebridge, and past the Murco Petrol station on your left, continue round a sharp right hand bend passing through the hamlet of Magham Down, and Tendring Fruit Farm on your left.
You will then see a junction on the left hand side to Old Road, Stoneacre Lodge will be found immediately past that junction on the left hand side. From the Boship roundabout Stoneacre is 3.4 miles.
