Greycroft is set on a corner site over looking the beautiful South Tyne valley towards Crossfell, the highest point in the North Pennines, in the peaceful hamlet of the RAISE, less than a mile from the historical market town of Alston, with its cobbled streets and narow gauge railway running along the peaceful South Tyne vally.
ACCOMMODATION, two bedrooms both on the ground floor one with double bed, ensuite shower over bath, 2nd one has a double and a single bed with ensuite shower room. Both rooms have tea trays TVs, electric blankets, clock radio,hair dryers, plus many extras. The bungalow is full central heated. Lounge, dinning room for breakfast with clear views over the hills plus extencive breakfast menu, we were finalist in the "Great Cumbria Breakfast".Many birds visit our bird table just out side the dinning room window. Many foot paths criss cross the area the most famous being the Pennine Way, and Sustrans C2C 7 and PW 68 cycle route, Ideal area for touring, within 40 miles you can visit, Carlisle Hadrians Wall, Newcastle, Durham, Penrith and Hexham and the lakes. |
