Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Dunvegan is situated in the centre of Dufftown, the Malt Whisky Capital of the World. Dufftown has much to offer all visitors and is an ideal centre for touring the surrounding area.

Dunvegan has en-suite and standard rooms. All produce used in the preparation of both breakfast and evening meals is as far as possible sourced locally.

There is a guest lounge with large screen TV for use of all guests and all rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, tv, hairdryer and central heating.

Stuart and Helen until 2008 owed and ran Creag-Na-Mara a 4* B&B in Caithness.

 

Dufftown Attractions

 
Dufftown's most famous attraction is Glenfiddich Distillery the original distillery on the Malt Whisky Trail. Dufftown also has 2 castles, historic buildings, local walks and hillwalking - Dufftown is at the foot of Ben Rinnes the second highest mountain in Scotland. There is also golfing and fishing - the world famous river Spey is only a short distance away.

Dufftown is approx half way between Inverness and Aberdeen airports. 40 minutes from Aviemore and 30 minutes from the Lecht Ski Centre.
