A 3 star awarded B & B establishment, Ardwyn offers unobstructed views of the Glaslyn estuary and the mountains beyond.

The accommodation consists of 2 first floor rooms, a double en-suite family room and a twin bedded room with seperate bathroom and toilet.Both rooms overlook the harbour and the estuary.


Special diets can be catered for.
Walkers and cyclists are also welcome.Off road parking is available.

A frequent bus service is available for transport to the bustling town of Porthmadog - only a mile away - as well as to Traeth y Greigddu / Blackrock Sands - three miles away. The bus stop is only about 100m from Ardwyn.

However the nearest beaches to Ardwyn are located about half a km along easy footpaths that lead to sandy coves - but the harbour beach right in front of Ardwyn is popular with families.The Glaslyn Estuary is popular with sailing boats owners.

Porthmadog is reached in about 20 minutes on foot.Various attractions are available here - The Ffestiniog Narrow gauge Railway The Welsh Highland Heritage Railway,the Mainline train Station with direct services to Wolverhampton and Birmingham, the Community Swimming Baths,the yacht Club,local and district bus sevices, local shops and supermarkets, cafes and restaurants.

Walking enthusiasts can follow scenic footpaths to the summit of Moel y Gest, to Cricieth, along the Cob(sea defence wall) to the pretend Italian Village of Porthmeirion.

Numerous climbs of various degrees of difficulties can be challenged on cliffs known as 'Creigiau Dre / Tremadog Rocks' about 5 km on the Beddgelert road.

Travelling from the A55 follow the directions for Caernarfon & Porthmadog. On the outskirts of the town, cross the railway line and continue to the roundabout (Tesco's on the right), proceeed straight on along the High Street and turn right by 'The Original Factory Shop'. Follow the signs for Borth Y Gest and Morfa Bychan. At the top of the hill, filter left to Borth Y Gest only. At the bottom of the hill, pass the garage on your right, followed by Ebenezer Chapel. Ardwyn is 50 m further on.
If travelling from the South, proceed pass the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway Station. At the 'Original Factory Shop', turn left and proceed as above.
