Bed and Breakfast Description

Haven House is in the heart of Beadnell village owned by Martin and Nicola who transformed their home into a B&B in August 2009. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and there are two very good pubs within 150 yards, The Craster Arms with its excellent beer garden and the Beadnell Towers providing excellent home cooked food. 2010 was a good busy first season with lots of new and repeat visitors for 2011. We have a 2 x large en-suite rooms suitable for couples or families. The Haven Suite can sleep up to 5 with a superking size sleigh bed, 2 x single beds and room enough for a z-bed/travel cot. The Garden Suite new in 2010 provides modern furnishings has a zip n link bed which can be either a superking size double or twin with room enough for 2 x z-beds, a 2 seater sofa and it has it's own private patio area. Both rooms have a mini fridge where we provide complimentary bottled water and milk. We kick start your day with a wonderful full breakfast served in the conservatory.



Seahouses Attractions

All local amenities to hand, village shops, endless miles of beach, pubs and restaurants are just a two minute walk away. A two mile walk or car ride will take you to Seahouses where there is a lovely harbour and many pubs, cafes and eateries. A five mile walk or car ride will take you to Bamburgh where there is a magnificent castle and coast line, or head in the opposite direction from Beadnell for a couple of miles and there are also some wonderful walks, links golf courses, pubs and of course more beaches! Nothing is too far. Beadnell is especially a good spot for divers too. Things to do and places to see; ~ Golf ~ Beadnell Bay ~ Alnwick Castle & Gardens ~ Bamburgh Castle ~ Diving ~ Bird Watching ~ Holy Island ~ Farne Islands ~ Beaches ~ Horse Riding

B&B Location

From the South
Follow signs past Newcastle and continue North on A1 following signs to Alnwick. After Alnwick you will come to a single stretch of the A1. Continue until you enter the next dual carriageway section (approx 7 miles) Approx. 1 mile along this section, turn right (Prestin Tower & Ellingham) Go down this road for 2 miles until you come to a small T Junction and turn left. Continue along this road for 3 miles and across the rail crossing at Chathill. Afetr a further 2 miles you will arrive at the coast, prior ro a sweeping left hand bend, turn right into The Haven, Haven House is 100 yards on the right hand side.
From the North
Approcah the area South of Berwick onm the A1. Take a left turning signposted Bamburgh. End of road turn right. Drive past the Castle in Bamburgh, straight on into Seahouses. Drive through Seahouses turn right at first roundabout up the high street and turn left at the second roundabout. Leave Seahouses (Golf course on left) and after 2 miles take slip road on the left. At the end of the slip road go straight across into The Haven, Haven House is 100 yards down on the right.
