Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Sue & Bruce invite you to enjoy Bed & Breakfast in our beautifully restored and extended 17th century family house surrounded by our lovingly maintained 2 acre garden. The historis house was once the rectory for the adjacent and very picturesque round towered Norman church of St Andrew. The house has many interesting features including a well in the hall!

Visitors can enjoy the comfortable beamed sitting room with its large inglenook fireplace and woodburning fire and in the summer there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the garden. We have created a wildflower area and also a natural wildlife pond.

The accommodation comprises one double bedded room, one twin bedded room and a modern luxury bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room. All rooms have magnificent views over the garden and countryside beyond.

Full English or continental breakfast, using locally sourced ingredients and homemade preserves, is served in the dining room. Visitors can also enjoy the comfortable beamed sitting room with its large inglenook fireplace.

Norwich Attractions

 
We have very easy access to the historic city of with its magnificent cathedral, museums, art galleries and excellent shopping.

The University of East Anglia with its world renowned Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is close by. There is a regular bus service into the city.

We are also ideally placed for visiting the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts, the Norfolk Broads, the many wildlife reserves and plentiful historic houses.
