Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Hedges is a small & friendly guest house all of our 4 rooms are stylish with modern sassy en-suite shower rooms, with pristine finishings. Each room has widescreen tv, tea/coffee making facilites, not to mention that little extra sherry to help relax after a busy day sight seeing.

King size and single beds pocket sprung are all so comfy. White goose duvets and pillows for that extra luxurious comfort.

Heather & Ian Macdonald your Hosts are natives of Edinburgh and like to share their knowledge of Edinburgh and The Lothians with their guests, nothing is too much trouble for them. They can also help book a trip to the Highlands. Grayline Tours leave daily from here.

They have a wonderful breakfast menu, including traditional Scottish, a chance to try The Haggis. Porridge is always a favourite easpecially with malt whisky & honey.

Hedges is one of these bed and breakfasts you call "Hidden Gem"
and want to keep it for yourself.

 

Edinburgh Attractions

 
Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre is almost on our doorstep as is Calton Hill (Athens of the North) Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace all within walking distance as is National Museum, art Galleries.

St. James shopping centre minutes away housing John Lewis store. Multrees walk with Harvey Nicols, is a successful designer shopping area.

Holyrood Park is also within 5 minutes walk, ideal for an early morning jog, or if feeling energetic, or to work off your breakfast, try climbing the famous extinct volcano, Arthurs Seat.
