Adamton House has two distinctive properties within its 18 acres of grounds.

The Express Rooms offer perfect accommodation for those on a budget or to or from Prestwick Airport. This lodge style accommodation offers Double, Twins, Singles and Budget Bunk rooms – and we even offer hotel deals in the height of summer – which is highly unusual for this part of the world!

The historic Main House has a more traditional feel with Executive, Deluxe and suites available, with a history dating back to the 11th century and has accommodated some interesting residents from (reputedly) Elvis Presley to Bonnie Prince Charlie’s children.

From romantic mini-suites to corporate bedrooms we have something to suit everyone looking for accommodation in this great Scottish location.

By Road:
From Glasgow and the North: Via M77. Follow the signs for Prestwick Airport. Take the first turning for Monkton. Follow the road bearing to the left (Baird Road). Continue past HMS Gannet and under the road bridge. Adamton House is on the left.

From Edinburgh: Take the M8 and M77, following the route above or travel via the A71 and follow the directions below.

From the South: Take the M74 then A71 to Kilmarnock. You will connect onto the M77 and follow the signs for Prestwick Airport and Ayr. En route you will see a sign for Monkton. Follow the road bearing to the left (Baird Road). Continue past HMS Gannet and under the road bridge. Adamton House is on the left.

By Bus:
Buses to Glasgow and the local towns run regularly from Prestwick Airport just under 2 miles away.

By Rail:
The closest railway station is Prestwick Airport just under 2 miles away and approximately 5 minutes by Taxi. Trains run every half-an-hour to Glasgow Central Station throughout the day and evening and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes.

By Air:
Prestwick Airport is just under two miles away and approximately 5 minutes drive. Glasgow Airport is approximately 45 minutes drive from Adamton House. Alternatively shuttle buses run from outside the airport terminal throughout the day, connecting to Paisley Gilmour Street Railway station. The train journey takes approximately 40 minutes to Prestwick Airport station.
