Our three letting rooms comprise a double, a twin/ super-king size and a family suite. All rooms have full en-suite facilities, welcome tray, chocolate biscuits, fresh fruit, radio alarm, colour television and a selection of quality toiletries, together with many little extra touches not normally found in regular
B&B accommodation. The family suite has a double bed and an adjoining room for the children with bunk beds. The maximum number of children we can accommodated is two. It also has the added attraction of a whirlpool whisper-jet bath, which goes down a bomb with the children, the usual comment is "they've never been so clean".
Here at Riverside B&B in the Peak District National Park Derbyshire, our legendary breakfast is a relaxed affair, usually served at 0830 hrs (earlier by request, especially if you want to get a full day's walking in!) As far as possible, our produce is organic / free range, and purchased directly from local Peak District farms and shops. When we have to purchase from supermarkets, produce is always organic: baked beans, or free trade produce: pineapple and other fruits. It is our policy to only use the CO-OP for such purchases, as we agree whole heartedly with their ethics. At Riverside B&B you do not need to choose your breakfast the night before!!!! Who knows what you want to eat 12 hours in advance? Our breakfast menu is always available "on the day."
Recent awards are for Riverside HQ's continuing commitment to provide our residents with a 100% smoke free environment. Something which Jane & I believe in passionately! They are the Smoke free Staffordshire Platinum Award and The National Clean Air Award Gold. It gives us immense pride to be able to display both of these coveted awards. We are equally proud of our local Peak District awards for our continuing use of local Peak District produce, and our ongoing commitment to protecting the local environment. |
