Located in the heart of the town centre but set within spacious and tranquil gardens, the Grade II listed building has been completely refurbished for comfortable living. Traditional materials, such as oak joinery throughout, have complimented the original stone and timber. All this combines with the latest technology, such as under floor heating and digital showers, to create luxurious accommodation within a rich historical setting. The courtyard provides ample secure parking, with electric gates and CCTV.
Guests can enjoy privacy, as The Old Barn is separated from the main house by the gardens. The owners, Glenn and Teresa, converted The Old Barn into purpose-built guest accommodation, to include three large, comfortable rooms. Each room has en-suite facilities and is spacious enough to relax in front of the TV, or work at the desk, using wireless access to the Internet.
Alternatively you can sink into a deep leather armchair, beside a roaring fire in the guests’ lounge. Your comfort and well-being are uppermost. Whether you have attended a conference, a business meeting or enjoyed a day at Towcester races, The Old Barn will perfectly match your accommodation needs.
Breakfast takes on the feel of a mediaeval banquet, under the low beamed ceiling of the guests’ dining room. We serve a full English breakfast, using the finest local produce and home-made preserves. There is still plenty of choice for those seeking lighter options and we will always try to accommodate individual requirements. |
