The Old Post Office Guest House BED & BREAKFAST

The "Old Post Office" previously called 'Palmerston Place' was built in 1894, and it was the Organford Village Shop and Post Office until 1998. It is conveniently situated for easy access to Poole and Wareham, and sits right on the edge of the Wareham Forest. We have a large adjacent parking area. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Post Office and Stores was a place where villagers could buy anything from patent medicines to paraffin, black lead to long leather laces. It fulfilled this role until the 1990s, and today the Old Post Office continues as the hub of village life in its current role as a B&B. It is owned and run by the Stark family, with Pete and Nicola in charge of the accommodation.

The Guest House is open all year round, offering full English and Continental breakfast served in the Dining Room, with vegetarian tastes catered for. All rooms have en-suite baths or showers and have a colour Television, with tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms are for non-smoking users. We have three double bedrooms and one single room available.
