Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Using more than 20 years' experience Tom and Margaret have taken great care to prepare Bourne End with every comfort for their guests. Whether on business or pleasure come and Enjoy: All Three rooms en-suite, King Sized, Comforable Beds, Egyptian Cotton Bedding, Tea and Coffee etc with Homemade Biscuits, Digital, Colour TV, Large Shower Rooms, Quality Towels and Accessories, Wi Fi available, Lovely Sitting Room for Guests' use, Ample safe parking. Families can be accommodated - do ask. Singles welcome, please ask.

Relax in the garden or stroll on the many farm tracks on our 420 acre farm. Notice the Birds - you may see the Red Kite and Buzzard as well as the many smaller birds. This is a very quiet, relaxing place yet just 6 miles north of Bedford town, quickly accessible from the A6. Come - You will return!

Twin Woods Business park. Colworth Park, Sharnbrook. 306th Bombardment Group Museum; Bedford Autodrome, Thurleigh Airfield Business Park, Thurleigh - Delightful museum. Commemorating history of the 306th Bombardment Group and the social impact of the 'Friendly Invasion' on the surrounding area during the war years.

Harrold-Odell Country Park: Carlton Road, Harrold - A 144-acre country park with 3 lakes and riverside. Posted walks in meadow, lakeside and by river. Visitors centre with tearoom and facilities. Nature reserve.

Shuttleworth Collection; Old Warden Aerodrome, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire - A unique historical collection of aircraft from a 1909 Bleriot to a 1942 Spitfire in flying condition and cars dating from an 1898 Panhard in running order.

Thurleigh Farm and Adventure Playground; Cross End, Thurleigh, Bedford - Thurleigh Farm Centre is a working farm with indoor and outdoor play facilities and tearoom were families can have relaxed fun together.

Situated just off the A6, 6 miles North of Bedford and 6 miles South of Rushden.

From the South take A6 towards Rushden and Kettering. From the North take A6 towards Bedford.

At "Sharnbrook" roundabout turn towards Thurleigh Business Park, then take Next Left signposted Bourne End. After 1 mile we are on your Right. Come past the house and drive in behind it, as the front garden is enclosed.
