Llandudno Attractions

Llandudno is on the Creuddyn peninsula, overlooked by the famous Great Orme, a 679 foot limestone hill and Country Park that is home to the famous 4000-year-old bronze age copper mines, with miles of beautiful and breathtaking walks: a place to watch Peregrine Falcons and more than 100 resident and migrant birds, depending on when you visit. You can walk the Orme or take the easier historic Victorian Tram (the longest cable-operated tramway in Britain) to the summit where the spectacular views will take your breath away. Revive yourself with refreshments at the summit bar or cafe ready for the much easier trip down.

There is all manner of other interesting wild life, including a herd of feral goats. A pair of the Kashmir goats where a gift from Queen Victoria to Lord Mostyn the local landowner in the late part of the 19th century. Take a stroll down the award winning 120 year old Llandudno Pier.

The Great Orme and Ski Llandudno is one of the best situated dry ski slopes in the country, and a thrilling 700m toboggan run for the non-skiers. If you want to take the easy way up, we have the longest cable-operated tramway in Britain or if you have a head for heights there are the cable cars, offering breathtaking views over Llandudno, the Conwy estuary and Snowdonia If you wish to venture away from Llandudno during your stay the mountains of Snowdonia are only a 15 minute drive away where you can wander in the peace, tranquillity and unabashed beauty of the mountains. The area boasts a number of superb castles where you can learn about the history of North Wales. Llandudno has a very good shopping centre, the best in North Wales both in the quality of the shops and the style in which they are laid out, keeping their Victorian elegance. We have a number of exceedingly good restaurants, and also bars and cafes.

B&B Location

When you get to Llandudno, head for the sea front and turn left towards the Pier. At the T Junction turn right, at the small roundabout turn left into Church Walks. Up the hill, past the Empire Hotel on the right, when you see the Tram station we are next door but one on the right, straight after Bodlondeb Castle. Pull into our car park and we will see you soon after.
