Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Hollyhurst Guest House is a privately run, traditional English guest house, offering a warm welcome and all the comforts of home to the business traveller and tourist alike. Established over many years, the Hollyhurst is today owned and managed by Trudi and Ken Wheat. As local people, we know Kenilworth and the surrounding area very well.

There are four letting bedrooms of which three are en suite, and one with private shower and WC. On the ground floor is a dining room and spacious lounge. Private parking is for seven vehicles. Our en suite and family rooms are furnished to a high standard. The Family Room contains a double and single bed with space for a baby's cot. All bathrooms have been refurbished to a high standard and are equipped with electric shower, wash basin and WC.

 

Kenilworth Attractions

 
There is much to interest the tourist or holiday maker: Stratford Upon Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare, is twelve miles to the south and well worth a visit, even if time is short. Closer still at four miles, is the county town of Warwick and its famous castle.

Kenilworth Castle - The ruins of this 12th century castle, famous for its Norman Keep, Great Hall, Gatehouse and Elizabethan gardens, is a popular tourist attraction and outdoor entertainment venue. Whether you plan your visit to coincide with a classical summer music concert, experience a mediaeval jousting tournament or simply spend a pleasant afternoon wandering around the peaceful grounds, your stay in Kenilworth will be the more memorable for a trip to its castle.
