Gwesty Minffordd Hotel BED & BREAKFAST

The Minffordd Hotel in Talyllyn valley, Mid Wales is set in probably the most breathtaking scenery in Britain and is literally situated at the base of the Cader Idris with the summit being 1 1/2 miles NW of the hotel. The original parts of the building are over 400 years old so as you Would expect the walls are very thick and there are plenty of originally features such as the original wood beams which can be seen throughout the building and our log fire which is a key feature during the winter months.

We Have 7 En-suite very comfortable & central heated bedrooms all are different in style, especially the bedrooms in the original parts of the building which are over 400 years old. All are extremely comfortable and spacious with stone walls & many original features still visibl. There are also many welcoming touches and most have views of Cader Idris & The Talyllyn Valley.

Our Restaurant is also open to non residents daily serving excellent freshly prepared food using welsh suppliers & products we do get very busy during weekends especially during the summer months. Although we give residents preference over non residents we recommend you to book your table for dinner upon making your reservation to avoid disappointment.

Although the bar area is quite compact in size We have a well stocked bar serving a range of bottled beers and Ciders, we also have Tetley's Smooth flow and Carlsberg Export on draught, a full wine list is also available and we stock a good selection Malt whiskey.
