Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The earliest parts of the farmhouse date from pre-1700, with later additions through Georgian and Victorian times. Set in 21 acres of land, 3 mile's from Craig Y Nos Castle, the farmhouse can accommodate up to 8 people.

Uninterrupted views of the countryside, with a stream, waterfall and wooded areas, within the grounds, to walk and explore. Bed & breakfast or self catering options available. The farmhouse may be booked on a shared or exclusive accommodation basis.

If you would like to book the farmhouse on a weekly exclusive self-catering holiday rental basis our rates are as follows:-
January to March (Low)- £350.00 per week (Saturday to Friday)
April and October to December(Mid)-£550 per week
May to September (High)-£750.00 (per week (Saturday to Friday)

 

Ystradgynlais Attractions

 
South Wales is a wonderful combination of majestic countryside, glorious coastline and of course the impressive Welsh capital city.

The Patti Bar (based within the castle) is the ideal place to have lunch, relax with a specialist coffee from its Segafredo coffee bar, or to sit back with a cup of tea and a cake. The lovely gardens of Craig-y-Nos Country Park are overlooked by the Patti Bar and provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing refreshment break.
 

B&B Location
 
From the North:
Head South to the A 40 which, running East/West, connects Brecon and Llandovery. Half way between these two towns (around 10 miles from each) the A 4067 joins the A40 near Sennybridge. Follow the A4067 South towards Swansea for around eleven miles (18 Kms). Craig-y-Nos Country Park and the Castle are on the left.

From the South and the M4 Motorway:
Follow the A4067 from junction No45 on the M4 to Craig-y-Nos Castle, a distance of around 16 miles (25.5 Kms). The castle is on the right.

By Rail:
Fast trains run from London Paddington Station to Neath and Swansea throughout the day.

Nearest Railway Station: Llangadog  (12  Miles)
