Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Tim & Diana Merrett welcome guests to Putchers. The house is situated in a peaceful rural location within the Horseshoe Bend of the River Severn, yet within easy access of J13 of the M5.

The Dining Room is where traditional English breakfast is served. Vegetarian and special diets by arrangement. Packed lunches available at £6 per person. The garden is where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Putchers provides one spacious double room with an en-suite shower room. The room is fitted with a colour TV, radio, tea & coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The room has large picture windows which afford magnificent panoramic views of The Severn Vale and across to The Forest of Dean.

 

Gloucester Attractions

 
We are ideally situated for exploring the beautiful countryside of The Severn Vale and The Cotswolds. Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, and Gloucester are all within easy reach.

Local attractions include: Berkeley Castle, The Wildfowl & Wetland Trust, The British Waterways Museum, Westonbirt Arboretum and The Severn Bore. Locally there are several good pubs serving food, and a fish restaurant on the banks of the River Severn. There are many good walks in the area, including The Severn Way and the Arlingham Horseshoe Walks.
 

B&B Location
 
From M5 junction 13 take the A38 south towards Bristol.
After few hundred yards turn right onto B4071.
Pass through village of Frampton on Severn, cross canal bridge and bear left for Arlingham.
After 1 ¼ miles turn right into Overton Lane.
Entrance to Putchers is approx 500yards on the left.
