Bed and Breakfast Description

Heathfield Country House is a calm place to return to following an active day out walking, playing golf or hunting through rock pools. Heathfield also makes an ideal base for artists (several have used the house as a subject), bird watchers, walkers or anyone who wants to enjoy the many attractions that Pembrokeshire has to offer. Our centrally heated en suite rooms give you the space to relax. They have large double beds, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have views from the front of the house, across the meadow towards the woods and hills beyond. Breakfast is served in the light spacious dining room. Wherever possible ingredients are locally sourced and are organic or free range.



Haverfordwest Attractions

Sandy beaches, seaside harbours, interesting pubs and the famous coastal footpath of the Pembrokeshire National Park are all within easy reach. So, whether you are just looking for a relaxing weekend of bed and breakfast, or perhaps you want a longer holiday in order to explore Pembrokeshire, we would like to welcome you.

B&B Location

If travelling from the South Wales and M4 direction take the A40 from Carmarthen, following signs for Haverfordwest and then Fishguard. Some ten miles after leaving Haverfordwest enter the village of Letterston. Pass the petrol station on the left shortly before reaching a crossroads in the centre of the village. Turn left here. There is an obvious fish and chip restaurant ‘Somethings Cooking’ on your right at this junction.

Continue on Saint David’s Road (B4331), shortly leaving the village and following the road downhill between fields and then under a railway bridge. Thirty yards beyond the railway bridge turn left through our gates and follow the track along to the main house. There is ample car parking outside the house.

If travelling from the Fishguard and Irish ferry direction take the A40 towards Haverfordwest. After about four miles enter the village of Letterston and turn right at the junction in the centre of the village. There is an obvious fish and chip restaurant ‘Somethings Cooking’ on the left at this junction. Continue on Saint David’s Road as per the paragraph above.
