Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Panteg is a 4 bedroomed period house surrounded by attractive gardens with 2 self contained self catering cottages. Take time to relax in tranquil surroundings or choose to explore the stunning Preseli mountains or numerous un spoilt beaches. The pace of life is relaxed and so are the people who are well known for their hospitality.

The farmhouse dates back to the 1700 and has been modernised over the years. It enjoys the benefits of todays comfort whilst retaining it's original features. The guest lounge has beamed ceilings with original stone walls and antique doors. Extending from the lounge is a well furnished conservatory where you may relax with a newspaper and a good book.

The farmhouse accommodation consists of one ensuite bedroom and the 2nd bedroom has a bathroom adjoining. both bedrooms are comfortably furnished with hospitality trays, shaver points, hairdryers and radios.

 

Haverfordwest Attractions

 
The Pembrokeshire coast National Park takes in about a third of the county, and is the only National Park that is almost all coastal. The National Park run an extensive programme of activities and events for both adults and children. They are all listed in the coast to coast newspaper which is available for free.

St David's Cathedral - Of all the ancient churches in Pembrokeshire the great cathedral at St Davids is of course the crowning glory. built in a hollow to conceal it from viking raiders the cathedral is a majestic building in a magnificent setting. It is in regular use as a place of worship and also provides a venue for fine concerts, yearly festival and craft exhibitions.

Saddle Up - Exploring inland Pembrokshire is best by bike. You can cover significant distances without much effort. The big challenge is the Pembrokeshire section of the Celtic trial long distance cycle way. It meanders around the coastline from Fishguard to Amroth in beautiful quiet lanes. Two cycling hubs have been set up at Newport and Saundersfoot as part of wales wide network. For horse riding, beach riding at Nolton or Newport is a local specialty as is western style riding at Sycambres Ranch at Llawhaden.

Beaches - No other county in the uk has more blue flag or seaside award beaches than Pembrokrshire. They have quality sand and surf, clean sea and superb scenery. Best beaches for activities they all have water sports and hire shops: Tenby Harbour / North Beach, Broadhaven in St Brides Bay, Dale, Newgale

Golfing - Pembrokshire has an abundance of firsts class golf courses. Many are stunning with Panoramic views which will make your golf even more enjoyable. Choose between established clubs like Tenby brand new courses like Trefloyne. Central parkland courses like Haverfordwest or Newport golf club where non members are welcome.

Take the B4320 through Byston Cross 8 miles to sign Ambleston. Take all left turnings at round junctions, turn left at church in Ambleton and proceed down the drive.

From Cardigan
Take A487 road to Eglwyswrw then on to B4329 through to woodstock Ambleston sign on L H S Road. Turn left at each junction until Ambleston Church. Turn left and proceed down drive.
