Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Bed and breakfast accommodation is available from the beginning of March to the end of November. Guests are welcome to cook their own evening meals on our barbecues or in the kitchenette in the summerhouse and we can help with the preparation of light meals. Our spacious rooms - two twin rooms and one family suite with two bedrooms, are all "en-suite" and all have access onto a balcony. Two have sea and country views, one has garden and country views and benefits from the evening sunset. A "no smoking" policy exits throughout.

Each of our colour coordinated rooms has the facility to make your own early morning cuppa or late night hot drink and is also equipped with a drinks fridge which will contain bottled Welsh Spring Mineral water and a jug of fresh milk and has space to chill cans or a bottle of wine as you wish. There is a widescreen colour TV, DVD player and a hairdryer in each room and plenty of wardrobe space. Laundry, ironing and clothes drying facilities are available in the utility room next to the kitchen.

You are invited to a leisurely (no rules and regulations!) breakfast on homemade bread, fresh eggs from our own chickens and local produce and you can even try your hand at milking our goats! Moreton House is a dog friendly establishment, pets are welcome at no extra charge and we have plenty of space for "walkies".

 

Saundersfoot Attractions

 
At Moreton House we offer you the chance to experience Pembrokeshire's breathtaking natural beauty and numerous activities. There is something for everyone, from sport such as golf, horse riding, fishing, and a variety of water sports to boat trips, museums, castles and local crafts, gardens and of course sampling top quality Pembrokeshire produce such as traditionally reared beef from the local Welsh Black breed of cattle, Welsh mountain lamb , delicious farmhouse cheeses, locally grown fruit and vegetables, homemade preserves and an abundance of quality sea food.

Moreton House is peacefully located in a quiet lane in its own grounds of six acres with panoramic sea and country views and yet is conveniently situated only one mile (about 20 minutes) stroll from the village centre, harbour, restaurants and beautiful sandy beaches of Saundersfoot. Its central location makes it an ideal base for a touring, walking or beach holiday. Also we are WTB approved walking and cycling host and are actually situated on Ride A and Ride B of the WTB Wales Cycle Breaks.

A477 to the Kilgetty roundabout. Take the A478 in the Tenby direction. Go up the hill past the Dragon Palace Chinese Restaurant on your right. Past a Texaco garage on your left. Continue until you come to a Murco garage on your right and take the next turning about 100 yards on your left which is Valley Road. Follow Valley Road for about a mile, going under the little railway bridge until you come to a large coach park (which never has a coach in it!) on your right. Turn into the coach park and take the little bridle path immediately on your right. Go to the T junction ( you will have a field in front of you) and turn right. Moreton House is about 100 yards on your left.
