Bill and Cita Garfield welcome you to their friendly, family run Guest House . Only seven minutes walk from the Royal Shakespeare Company - RSC Theatre.
At Avonpark House all rooms en-suite. For your comfort rooms are centrally heated with individual thermostatic controls and double glazed. All rooms have high quality beds, hospitality trays, colour television, satellite TV channels, alarm clock radio, hair drier and shoe cleaning & sewing kits. Information brochures of Stratford, Warwickshire and the Cotswolds are available.
For our younger guests, cots are available at no extra charge. Juice or drinks always available for children. Free Wifi access subject to signal strength. The premises were completely refurbished in April 2007 to present smart, comfortable rooms to relax in.
Ironing facilities are also available. A laundry and drying service is available for a modest charge. You are welcome to sit or wander in the garden. We have ample off road Car Parking to accommodate one vehicle per room on our private driveway. Classic car enthusiasts are welcome and hosepipe, vacuum cleaner, buckets and sponge are provided.
We are famous for our traditional full English breakfast. At Avonpark House, our Chef aims to please. We also cater for vegetarian diets. High chairs are available for our Junior guests. Breakfast in our Guest House is served in the Dining room overlooking the garden. Relax and watch the wildlife having their breakfast, while you eat yours. |

It is convenient and comfortable accommodation, from which to explore Shakespeare Country and the Heart of England. Historic Stratford is famous as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, the worlds best known playwright, but nearby is the magnificent Warwick Castle, home to the Earls of Warwick, some of the most powerful men in England for centuries. "The Kingmakers" Allow half a day for your visit to this Medieaval fortress.
Holy Trinity Church c1210AD ~ There has been a church on this spot,since 845AD.Shakespeare is buried here.
Ann Hathaway's Cottage ~ The cottage was the childhood home of Shakespeare's wife, Anne, the daughter of a yeoman farmer, Richard Hathaway. |

From M40 - Junction 15, follow signs Stratford-upon-Avon for 2 miles. At the end of the dual carriageway, turn left at small roundabout, and follow sign A439 local traffic.
From Birmingham - A34 Stratford Road, or M42 and M40.
From London or North of England - M40.
From Worcester, Evesham or M5 - Junction 9, take A46 signposted Stratford-upon-Avon. On arriving in Stratford follow the signs for Shipston on Stour (A3400). At the roundabout on the A3400, turn right onto Shipston Road, and we are on the right near the top of the road.
From Oxford- Use M40.
On arriving in Stratford-upon-Avon from the M40, continue until you come to the big one way system, keep in the left hand lane, go past the Leisure Centre and Holiday Inn Hotel, keep left, go over the old Clopton Bridge on the River Avon, 200 yards turn right at the small island (with Shell Petrol station), onto the Shipston Road, we are five hundred yards on the right.
