Bed and Breakfast Description

 

You can expect a warm and friendly welcome from the owners, Peter and Ruth, who will look after you during your stay. Their vast experience, knowledge of the local area and professional approach explain why Ambleside is such a popular choice. The house has recently been completely re-decorated and is meticulously maintained to provide for a comfortable stay.

Ambleside Guest House has single, double and family rooms (all non-smoking). A ground floor room is available with ensuite and can be used as a double/twin or family (for 3 people). We have 5 ensuite bedrooms and 2 single rooms with shared private bathroom. All rooms are well equipped with tv and hospitality tray, hairdryer, and free wifi. We have ironing facilities available on request.

We are happy to arrange accommodation for large groups with the assistance of other similar guest houses less than five minutes' walk away. Stratford upon Avon is full of things to do and you'll need a good breakfast to start your day. We offer a full English breakfast, and vegetarian breakfasts can also be prepared - you won't leave here hungry!

Stratford upon Avon is rich in attractions including The 5 Shakespeare Houses - The Birthplace, Mary Arden's House, Halls Croft, New Place/Nash's House, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried protected by a cursed tombstone, The Courtyard Theatre, Royal Shakespeare & Swan Theatres (currently being re-furbished), Stratford Racecourse, Stratford Bike Hire, The Civic Hall, Stratford Town Walk - highly recommended and The Ghost Walk - not to be missed!
