Bed and Breakfast Description |
| |
|
Clare & Clive Robertson provide comfortable, affordable Bed and Breakfast accommodation close to the centre of Brighton & Hove. Perfect for those wishing to visit Brighton and Hove City or the surrounding county of East Sussex - Hove Guest House is an ideally positioned B&B on the UK south coast. Just a stones-throw from Brighton Beach (including the famous Brighton Pier), a 20 minute walk to the commercial centre of Brighton, and a short drive from the spectacular South Downs of Sussex - guests at our B & B will never be short of sights to see or places to visit.
We have different rooms available to suit all of our guests, from a single room for a single night to a family room for a week. All guests are welcomed, well accommodated, and well catered for at Hove Guest House. All of our guest rooms are well appointed and retain many period Victorian features. All have colour TVs with integrated DVD players as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Free wireless internet access is also available in all rooms. |

Hove Attractions |
| |
Brighton & Hove was recently short-listed for European City of Culture, and for good reason. It boasts several cinemas, theatres and concert venues (including the spectacular, recently re-developed Brighton Dome complex) and is rapidly becoming one of the major conference cities for both business and politics. Furthermore, Brighton & Hove has been a major tourist destination since the late 17th Century. George IV (The Prince Regent) popularised it when he developed his lavish "holiday home" the extraordinary Brighton Pavilion. As such, nowadays visitors are extremely well catered for.
It is said that Brighton has more pubs, bars and clubs per square meter than any where else in Europe - presently more than 400 and counting. Likewise, you will never be far from a good quality restaurant to suit your taste (be it Chinese, French, Greek, Goan, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, Mongolian, Spanish or even good old-fashioned Fish and Chips!) Finally, a stay in Brighton & Hove is not complete without a visit to the famous Brighton Beach and Pier.
Hove Guest House is the ideal location from which to explore the surrounding county of East Sussex and the South East of England. The historic towns of Hastings and Lewes are only a short drive away, and a visit to Arundel Castle comes very well recommended.
Sussex boasts some of the most beautiful countryside in the uk from Beachy Head (pictured right) to Devils Dyke, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors, including country walks along the famous South Downs Way.
If you would like to venture a little further London is just a 45min train journey away, and if you'd like to take to the sea then a visit to Queen Victoria's holiday retreat - Osbourne House - on the nearby Isle of Wight is a must. Alternatively the Channel Islands of Jersey or Guernsey are only a ferry journey away, or, if you fancy a day trip to France there are regular hovercraft departures from nearby Newhaven. |
