Mike & Bernie Heaton look forward to welcoming you to Woodlands Guest House Liverpool which is a family run guesthouse / bed and breakfast offering clean, fresh, well-maintained accommodation. We aim to offer a comfortable, friendly atmosphere where our guests can relax and feel at home and want to come back again. We are located five miles from Liverpool City Centre with good public transport links to the City, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and the coastal town of Southport. We are also close to the motorway network.

All our rooms are en-suite with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. We have a choice of single, twin, double, triple and family rooms. Breakfast is included and the choice is yours, anything from cereal to full English. Free off road car parking is also available.

 

Liverpool Attractions

 
Although we are located in a quiet residential area, within five minutes walk there are a wide variety of shops and a great choice of bars and restaurants, you can eat around the world on our doorstep.

The seafront is also just 10 minutes away and its promenade is a lovely place for a walk as is the nearby country park with its wide variety of wildlife. Also a short distance away from the Guest House is the Leeds to Liverpool canal which has an array of colourful barges that run to Liverpool Docklands (day trips are available). Also if you would like to take some time out and relax nearby is Rimrose Valley nature reserve.

If you are going to Anfield or Goodison park the from Waterloo train station to Sandhills then you can get the Soccer bus (only runs on match days) from Sandhills to Anfield or Goodison Park.

With more museums and art galleries than any other city - outside of London - Liverpool is a 'must see' destination for all culture vultures! Performing arts in Liverpool have a substantial reputation and famous city theatres like the Playhouse, Everyman, Empire and Royal Court have all hosted performances by writers, directors, actors and actresses who have gone on to become world-famous names in the world of theatre, film and television.

Live music venues, clubs, restaurants, cafes, and an enormous variety of drinking bars ranging from superb, traditional public houses to the latest designer-chic cafes and cabaret venues, all combine to make Liverpool's night scene one of the liveliest in the UK.
