Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Milton House is an elegant Victorian house with all the modern comforts, but retaining many original features. We are situated in Askrigg, the well known Wensleydale village famous as a location for the BBC Television series "All Creatures Great & Small".

We have been offering a warm welcome to our guests for over 20 years. Our lovely dales family home is beautifully furnished and decorated and offers all the comforts of home, including central heating. A full cooked breakfast is served at 8:30am using local produce & homemade preserves. We have also been awarded a 'Visit Britain 4 Star' rating.

 

Leyburn Attractions

 
Wensleydale is the largest of the Yorkshire Dales and has a beauty all of its own. Here you can get away from the stresses of everyday life and enjoy the magnificent scenery and the peace of Herriot Country. Waterfalls, dells, castles, lovely walks (from a gentle stroll to something more demanding), charming market towns and pretty villages - you'll be spoilt for choice!

Askrigg is surrounded by beautiful countryside which is ideal for exploring by car, cycle or on foot. There are three good pubs in the village that offer lunchtime and evening meals.
