Bed and Breakfast Description

 

This newly converted property offers exceptional accommodation finished to the highest of standards ensuring you make the most of your stay. Whether you would like to be catered for in the house at our bed & breakfast or be more independent in our cosy holiday cottage, we are able to offer you an extremely comfortable stay. As we are situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park it means we are ideally situated whether you want to relax and tour the Dales or be more active and take advantage of the excellent walking from our door.

Having been awarded AA 5* status in 2008, we offer two lovely bedrooms both newly decorated and in excellent order. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other antique twin beds. Both rooms have their own en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower facilities ensuring guests have their privacy and all home comforts. There is a drawing room available for guests to use with lovely views up the fields which can provide a quiet haven away from your bedroom. Using fresh local produce we have a delicious range of breakfasts.

 

Leyburn Attractions

 
It is the scenery and quiet that makes Capple Bank Farm so special - the views of Wensleydale are spectacular! You have no need to drive anywhere, you can simply put your boots on and walk from our door up Penhill and over into Swaledale or further up Wensleydale. If you are looking for a truly restful break then this is the ideal spot.
 

B&B Location
 
From A1(M):
Take the exit off the A1(M) at Leeming Bar and turn left to Aiskew, Bedale and Masham.

Follow the road into the centre of Bedale and at the crossroads turn right, going through the town and heading out on the A684 to Leyburn.

After 8 miles, you will reach Leyburn. Head into the centre of the town, past the market square and at the roundabout by the Bolton Arms pub, turn left. Follow the road for about 3 miles, going through the village of Wensley, until you come to West Witton.

250m after entering the village is a turning left signposted to Melmerby and Carlton. Take this turning and follow the road up the hill for about 100m. Go round the first corner and continue up a small hill. The entrance to Capple Bank Farm is straight ahead of you after 20 yards.
