COAST offers 4 star (Silver award)boutique bed and breakfast in an elegant Edwardian town house in the lovely town of Bexhill-on-Sea (between Eastbourne and Hastings). Located near the sailing club and the Del a Warr Pavilion, shops, cafes and restaurants, Coast is less than 150 metres from the unspoilt seafront.
Our rooms are stylish and individual, whilst retaining many period features. All rooms are contemporary, en-suite with bath/shower, or shower. Plush white towels, sumptuous quilts, and a well stocked hospitality tray, flat screen TV with free view, and free wi-fi access.
Crimson is a large, relaxing room, ideal for those who enjoy having plenty of space. Alternatively, Crimson can be reserved as a family room, complete with a luxurious super king and generous sofa bed. The well-appointed en suite has both a shower, roll top bath and plenty of soft towels.
Teal is a bright, airy room furnished with a plush king size bed with the very best quality Egyptian cotton bedding, abundant soft furnishings and handsomely styled en suite.
Sage boasts a king size bed and modern en-suite making this room a perfect retreat for a break at any time. It has a wall mounted flat screen 26” TV with free view. Ample soft furnishings and plush towels accentuate the degree of comfort. |

Bexhill, the birthplace of British motor racing, was initially renowned by the Victorians for its mild climate and fresh sea air. The beautiful, unspoilt beach is just at the bottom of the road with rock pools aplenty at low tide. The local area has excellent golf, sailing, walking and museums/galleries. A beach hut can also be hired (by arrangement).
A little further afield, Hastings old town boasts an abundance of antique shops, historic Rye has spectacular views, Battle Abbey and site of the Battle of Hastings are steeped in history and Bodiam Castle is picture perfect. |

By Car Bexhill is only 60 miles (100km) from London and the main route in is the A21, which is linked to the M25. It can also be approached from the west via the A23, A27 and A259 for the Channel crossings. Easy on street parking. Free, nearby off street parking by arrangement.
By Train Frequent trains run from London Victoria (or Charing Cross via St Leonards), and the journey takes approximately 120 minutes. The coastal service runs the length of the South Coast and Bexhill is well served by the hourly service from Ashford. Frequent trains run between Brighton and Bexhill and direct trains run from Bexhill to Gatwick.
The ports of Dover (45 miles), Folkestone (38 miles), Newhaven (31 miles) and Ramsgate (50 miles) are close and there are day excursions by coach from Bexhill to France, Holland and Belgium.
The international London Gatwick Airport handles direct flights from all parts of the world, with internal flights operating from the rest of Britain. Gatwick is on the Victoria line, offering a direct link with Bexhill and is less than 50 miles by road.
For car drivers "Le Shuttle" connects the South East of England and Northern Europe from Folkestone. Alternatively, take the "Eurostar" Passenger Train to Ashford International and change at Hastings for frequent connections to Bexhill.
