The Main House Rooms Our superior and deluxe rooms in the main house offer a combination of elegance and classic sophistication. The superior rooms with their large luxurious bathrooms and tasteful, traditional furnishings provide uninterrupted views across the Tamar Valley.
All of our rooms offer a host of luxuries - an abundance of fluffy towels, towelling robes, fresh flowers, bottled water - even a tin of home-made shortbread biscuits! Personal mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities are at hand. Special beauty products are available in all the bathrooms, and you will find many other small but important personal touches.
Garden House Rooms The most sumptuous beds, the best technology and beautiful décor are just some of the features of our luxurious Garden House rooms. Individually designed, each room has its own unique character and ambience.
As well as soft furnishings using top quality designer fabrics, the rooms have the best quality Vi-Spring beds - providing the most restful, refreshing sleep. Each room has a large integrated LCD television and DVD player. The bathrooms are fully equipped with modern bathroom suites, large walk in power showers and some have wet rooms.

The gigantic global garden, the size of thirty football pitches, is designed to tell the fascinating story of man's relationship with, and dependence upon, plants and is set in a breathtaking 35 acre crater. The awesome geodesic structures are the world's largest greenhouses accommodating an array of plants from al over the world.
Devon & Cornwall Coastline The spectacular rugged North Devon & Cornwall Coastline offers sandy beaches and dramatic cliff walks.

Golf There are a number of excellent golf courses within easy reach of The Horn of Plenty, but the best known is probably St. Mellion and its renowned Jack Nicklaus course - a mere 15 minutes by car.
Riding Pony trekking and riding on Dartmoor can be organised given prior notice.
Fishing The Horn of Plenty is situated between the rivers Tamar and Tavy, both well known for excellent salmon and trout fishing. |
