Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Located in the beautiful village of Thornton Le Dale North Yorkshire, Banavie provides all the delights of a traditional B&B with some warm Yorkshire hospitality. As well as being an attractive village in its own right, Thornton Le Dale is perfectly placed for people visiting the attractions that North Yorkshire has to offer. On arrival we serve all our guests with a tea tray to help them unwind after the journey.

Banavie offers warm friendly accommodation where your host Ella will endevour to make your stay as relaxing and enoyable as possible. We offer three spacious bedrooms. Two double bedrooms with en-suite facilities (one with bath and shower) and one triple room comprising of a double bed and a single bed also with en-suite facilities. All are tastefully decorated and are situated on the first floor. All bedrooms have a colour TV, free serve tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits, hair dryer and shaver point.

 

Pickering Attractions

 
The village of Thornton Le Dale is one of the most beautiful in North Yorkshire. Famous for it’s “Thatched House” it’s the perfect place to stay for relaxation and location.

Dalby Forest is on our doorstep and has many activities, including great walks, mountain bike trails, horse riding and much more.

Relax and enjoy the steam trains on the North Yorkshire Railway. You can stop off at a variety of stations or travel all the way through to the popular seaside resort of Whitby and experience some of the best fish and chips England has to offer.

Flamingoland houses both a theme park and a zoo and is a great day out for all the family.

A visit to Eden Camp will transport you back in time to wartime Britain. You will experience the sights, sounds, even the smells of those dangerous years. A great educational and nostalgic experience.
